The latest installment of our blog series, CGC Projects in Focus, details yet another exciting Queensland project – the Brisbane Skytower, a world-class design that pushes the boundaries of what’s possible for engineering and architecture in Australia.
This stellar structure is another showcase of how extraordinary inner-city complexes can combine sublime urban living with commercial and community hubs. Due for completion this 2019, the Brisbane Skytower holds 1,138 self-contained apartments, sub-penthouse and penthouse apartments as well as lifestyle shops, high-end restaurants, and many other recreational and commercial spaces. It’s a is a soaring glass-wrapped design located at 222 Margaret Street in Brisbane’s CBD.
Standing at 274 metres and taking in 90 storeys, the Skytower offers unparalleled views that extend to the Brisbane River and the Botanic Gardens to Moreton Bay, Stradbroke Island, and even as far as the Gold Coast and the Great Dividing Range.
Located just a short walk from the city’s entertainment district, the tower also dubbed as the “Christmas Bon-Bon” is split across three distinct sections on its vertical rise. It will give residents access to recreational decks, gyms and steam room facilities, swimming pools, and the world’s highest infinity pool located at the 89th floor. The Brisbane Skytower does indeed exude exclusivity, glamour and grandeur.
Sydney-based property developer Billbergia worked with Hutchinson Builders and investment company AMP Capital to deliver the Skytower.
CGC Recruitment is helping high-rise apartment projects like the Brisbane Skytower succeed by recruiting experts in related fields like project management consulting and development.
