February 2013 Newsletter
At the start of February, the team at CGC Recruitment relocated to new pastures. We said farewell to our home since September 2011 in Young Street, Sydney and moved into larger premises at 8-10 Loftus Street, Sydney.
The new premises have excellent transport links, a Harbour Bridge view and room for additional consultants. CGC are always looking to add exceptional talent to their existing high achieving team of specialist consultants. To enquire about opportunities at CGC Recruitment please contact David Cox for a confidential discussion.
2013 continues to be busy for CGC Recruitment with permanent and contract roles successfully filled across Australia in particular New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia. Each CGC consultant specialise in their specific disciplines and markets within the Australian construction and engineering sector. By targeting specific markets CGC consultants are capable of immediately understanding their clients’ needs and candidate’s requirements. By engaging a CGC recruiter you are already speaking to someone immersed in their industry that are familiar with upcoming projects, successful tenders, industry terminology, whilst offering a transparent and partnering recruitment service. Meet the team.
For those working and looking to relocate to NSW there is some great news in February. The conditions in the New South Wales property and construction industry are set to pick up in 2013 as a recovery in home building offsets weaker commercial building activity and investment in infrastructure projects keep civil construction activity strong.
While the outlook for commercial property is patchy, decent levels of capital growth are expected in the industrial and retirement living sectors.
The North West Rail project and Sydney Light Rail keeps output strong in transport, and a good pipeline of wind farms and resource projects keeps activity going in electricity and pipelines, as well as mining.
One interesting area of growth will be telecommunications, where activity is expected to increase as the National Broadband Network roll-out continues to gather momentum. CGC deliberately position themselves across all these growth markets. For all general enquiries please contact us now.
The main topic of discussion in the recent weeks within the walls of CGC HQ was the impending arrival of the British and Irish Lions on the shores of Australia. As early as February, tickets have been changing hands at a fast pace in house with CGC employees looking to get the best view of the upcoming test matches. CGC employ Australians, British and Irish citizens, so the passion and rivalry will be sure to heat up!
